You can support Pantry Partners' efforts to feed hungry people in a variety of ways. Donations of wool and wool-blend sweaters, fleece jackets, fleece fabric, rotary cutting blades, and monetary gifts are welcome. Donations may be dropped off at the administrative office of WayForward Resources, 3502 Parmenter St., Middleton, or The River Food Pantry, 3301 Packers Ave., Madison, during office hours. Volunteer made
Wool sweaters are donated by Madison-area thrift stores and Pantry Partners' supporters.
Sweaters are washed, dried, and prepared for cutting.
Volunteers cut mitten pieces from the upcycled wool.
Mitten pieces are sewn together by local volunteers.
Each pair is lined with cozy fleece.
Women's mittens are embellished with buttons, which are also donated.
